With such a short trip I didn’t get to try their food while I was in town however after asking where I could buy their products, they kindly sent me some brightly packaged goodies to try.
The good news for vegos is that Turban Chopsticks products are 100% vegetarian and vegan. They are also gluten and wheat free and contain all natural ingredients and no preservatives, colours, additives or MSG. Hello happy tummy!
I made the creamy green pea dahl kit which contains a pack of lentils and a sachet of hand roasted spices. The instructions on the back of the box are very easy to follow – all I needed to add was oil or ghee, coconut milk and vegies.
It looks good, right? It really was! And it tasted even better the next day.
I’m impressed, Turban Chopsticks is a great Australian owned and made brand to keep in the pantry for those busy nights. Thankfully you don’t have to live in WA to get your hands on them – you can buy these goodies online. I’m certainly looking forward to trying more of them.
I’d love to hear from you friends – what locally owned and made products are you enjoying right now?
