My Monthly Loves is a regular feature where I share some things I’m digging on, and I invite y’all to do the same by joining in the link up.
Let’s go, October!
1. An epic cake
At the beautiful wedding of a fellow food loving pal, this incredible and impressive Unbirthday cake featured for dessert. It was ’old school vanilla with salted caramel sauce and hummingbird cake with vanilla buttercream and edible flowers’ and it was the most wonderful and delightful sweet with so many brilliant flavours…I had to go back for seconds. OINK.
2. Granny squares
Early in the month Ma and I went to a beginner crochet class at an adorable little yarn shop in Newtown very aptly named The Granny Square. Since then I’ve been on a granny square making frenzy! It took me a little bit to get the hang of it but now that I’m on a roll I can happily sit down and knock a few out in one go. It will be way more impressive when I’ve got enough to whip up a little blanket and I’ll be sure to brag about my handy skills again then.
3. Sydney Harbour
As much as I love to travel, it’s always nice to appreciate what’s in your own back yard. Having been on a few trips this year, I took some time out to ogle at our dazzling and sunshiney habour. Ain’t she a beaut!
And now friends, it’s over to you – what goodies are you loving this month? Share the love by adding your blog or Instagram link or leave a comment below.
