The My Monthly Loves link up is a regular feature where I share some things I’m digging on, and I invite y’all to do the same by joining in the link up.
Let’s go, September!
1. Sydney in spring
There’s something so invigorating about the sunny kiss of spring. The sky is blue, the birds are chirping and there’s a lush scent of jasmine in the air.
We’ve had some fantastic weather this month and it’s certainly shaking me out of my groggy winter hibernation mode.
2. Tasty lip smackers
One windy afternoon I got caught without a stick of balm so I stepped into a health food store to save myself from a case of chapped lips.
I came across Hurraw! – a vegan lip balm made with organic, raw ingredients. With so many delicious flavours! I started off with lime and had to go back for the chocolate. Oh boy, you’ll want one or two of these tasty lip smackers.
3. City buildings
I spent a couple of days in town for training and couldn’t help but marvel at the beauty of Sydney architecture, especially the Queen Victoria Building. It’s such a stunning and impressive building, I think we’re quite lucky to have the lovely QVB in our city.
4. Crochet crafternoons
Yonks ago when I first started learning to crochet (I’m still a major beginner) I created a huge stack of granny squares and then tucked them away in a box and forgot about them.
Thanks to a few handy YouTube tutorials, I’ve learned how to join squares together and create something to show my handiwork off. I’m quite pleased with the result and I’m excited to have a renewed love for the crocheting.
And now friends, it’s over to you – what goodies are you loving this month? Share the love by adding your blog or Instagram link or leave a comment below.
