My Monthly Loves is a regular feature where I share some things I’m digging on, and I invite y’all to do the same by joining in the link up.
Let’s go, December!
1. Designer lamp
My incredibly talented sister Amy has been studying surface design for the past two years (and doing fabulously well at it) and this gorgeous lampshade is the result of one of her assignments. I loved it so and put dibs on keeping it. It’s so nice having a beautiful homemade piece on the bedside table – it makes me think of her every night as I’m reading before bed.
2. iKOU goodies
On a recent weekend with family in the beautiful Blue Mountains I found out about iKOU – a local, kind and sustainable brand offering handmade products that are focussed on rest and relaxation, much like those you’d get at a fancy day spa. They’ve got good quality and lovely smelling skin and body care products, candles, essential oil and herbal teas. I took home some tealight candles, lip balm and a make up pouch.
3. Ice cream wall hanging
Sticking with my recent plunge into the creative sphere, I joined a friend to a crafternoon at Work-Shop for a ‘Weave a wall hanging’ class. Teacher Miss Helen said my wall hanging reminded her of ice cream which I thought was quite fitting for it to be made by someone who loves food so much.
And now friends, it’s over to you – what goodies are you loving this month? Share the love by adding your blog or Instagram link or leave a comment below.
