My Monthly Loves is a regular feature where I share some things I’m digging on, and I invite y’all to do the same by joining in the link up.
Let’s go, August!
1. Plant-based soaps
You all know I’m a fan of products that are kind to animals and our planet which makes these Eco Store soaps right up my alley. They’re not tested on animals, free of nasty chemicals, soft and creamy and smell lovely. Better still, these are easy to buy – I came across these in the local supermarket.
2. Getting crafty
This month I did something I never thought I’d do…I went to a beginner crochet class. It was crazy frustrating at first trying to get the hang of but once I did, I was surprised to find out I actually enjoy it! It’s great for concentration and patience and means I’m not playing with my dang phone as much (I’m looking at you, Candy Crush). I’m determined to hone this skill and make myself a scarf. I’ve also been taking time out to do a spot of colouring – both of these crafty hobbies are great for clearing the mind, slowing down and letting go of worries and stress.
3. W.A. produce
On a recent trip to Perth, my sister brought me back a few food treats (because edible gifts are my favourite). Truth be told I’m already halfway through the onion relish which is a perfect match with mushrooms, I’ve got grand plans to coat tofu in the dukkah and that truffle oil is asking to be drizzled over a simple pizza or pasta dish.
And now friends, it’s over to you – what goodies are you loving this month? Share the love by adding your blog or Instagram link or leave a comment below.
