Great Australian Bakeline

Last month I was invited to participate in the Baker’s Secret Great Australian Bakeline by making a dessert typical of the 1970s.

Rising to the challenge, I set aside a Sunday to make two sweet treats with the 12cm loose based tartlet trays. Whilst it was tough deciding which dessert to enter, I submitted the Peppermint Crisp Pies which now features in the August edition of the World Kitchen ‘Stir the Pot’ newsletter. Wow, what an honour!

For those with a sweet tooth, you might like the Glazed Strawberry Tarts, also made with the non-stick tartlet trays.

Along with some other great decade entries, the newsletter features a competition to win a Baker’s Secret Cupcake Connoisseur kit. If baking is your thing, check out the newsletter now to enter!
