To cater for the growing number of vegans, as well as those looking for dairy-free options, the crew at Gingerbread Folk have created a range of dairy-free gingerbread men.
Made in the scenic Blue Mountains, 90 minutes west of Sydney, the delicious gingerbread is made from natural ingredients and doesn’t contain any artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
Animal lovers will be pleased to know that as Gingerbread Folk doesn’t support the battery hen industry, they use egg-free icing. They also support animal charities when possible.
The vegan friendly gingerbread can be purchased at the online store but if that doesn’t tickle your fancy, how about WINNING some?!
To show off just how good the dairy-free range is, Gingerbread Folk are giving away 12 snackpacks of dairy-free gingerbread men.
For your chance to win, leave a comment on the Gingerbread Folk Facebook page stating why you want the dairy-free range available in your local cafes and food stores.
Competition closes 4pm Friday 19 October 2012. Good luck!

these look great. my daughter has a reaction to egg so it is nice to know that she could eat these.
Wonderful! Hopefully you’ll win a snackpack in the Facebook comp
Nice! I like that they don’t support the egg industry…
Me too! Good to know they’ve found an alternative too
Oooh these look good! I’ve been recently going dairy free on all my food because I am sensing a possibly intolerence (nooooo!!) and I love gingerbread! Thanks for posting this!
You’re very welcome! You should try them, they are really good
Is it horrible that I just want to bite off the heads of the gingermen? :S They look so delicious!
Ha! Not at all, tasty little men they are
How great! After going veg, I’ve been reading a few books about the treatment of animals and it really disgusts me. I love that these dont support such a terrible industry. Plus who can’t love a cute gingerbread face
Once you start tapping into the information on animal treatment, it can be very confronting. It’s fantastic when food providers take a stand!
Cute and ethical, win win.
And delicious too!
