If you follow me on Instagram you’ll know that I love a good breakfast smoothie. And I’ll often use coconut milk or almond milk in cooking. This made me a tad excited to try the new So Good Almond & Coconut Milk.
It’s made from almonds and coconut, it’s low in fat and saturated fat and is lactose and gluten free. Happy tummy time!
I wanted something fresh so I adapted this raw choc mint smoothie to make a simple and healthy on-the-go drink.
- 1 cup So Good Almond & Coconut Milk
- ½ frozen banana
- 2 Tbs raw cacao powder
- ¼ cup fresh mint leaves
- 1 Tbs maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp maca powder
- Pinch sea salt
- Handful of ice
- Add the ingredients into a high-powered blender in the order as above.
- Whiz on high until the consistency is smooth.
- Pour and enjoy!
