Have you ever wanted to send someone a gift but have trouble deciding what to get? Not sure what type of wine they like? Flowers are pretty but they droop, the petals fall off and eventually they end up in the bin. How about a surprise box of artisan goodies for a food lover? Voila, problem solved!
The lovely folk at Crave Good Food sent me a Tasting Box to sample and I’m happy to say it was totally veg friendly. Each month offers different goodies and you can have one-off or monthly boxes delivered which would make an excellent gift (for yourself!) for someone who appreciates good food.
In my package was a Thistle Be Good (such a clever name) green pea, lemon and mint risotto. To make, all you need is olive oil and boiling water. Simples! Usually I’m not a big fan of a packet mix but this was so easy and surprisingly tasty. Meal packs like these would be handy to keep in the pantry for when you just don’t have much time.
Do tell friends, what’s your favourite time-saving meal?
